    Mods.. where to start?

I won't drill holes in my bootlid. Ever.

    Mods.. where to start?

I should have typed skirt. I meant skirt. I have a rear skirt. I've also thought about those lip spoilers on eBay though, I don't like "standard" spoilers, one of the guys at work has an E46 BMW with a lip spoiler, looks much better than the other sort. I've also been scoping out pre cut tints...

    Rear door issue

Mine does this, it seems that the door has dropped. Still opens fine from the inside, but unless a certain method is used it won't open from the outside.

    Mods.. where to start?

The way my back is at the moment, I couldn't attempt anything remotely heavy, and the brakes were desperate, so garage job it was. I have the added issue of a distinct lack of useable garage, so most of my work is either done in the warehouse at work or in the road. Tints are on the cards, for...

    Mods.. where to start?

Definitely looking at lowering. I stumped for a garage to do the new calipers, pads and discs. So when that bill is settled, I'll start looking at lowering, in the mean time I'll do some "cheap" jobs on it to satisfy my need for mods, so I'll be painting said very expensive calipers and start...

    Mods.. where to start?

http://www.fastcar.co.uk/2011/07/15/modified-vip-honda-accord/ Found this... LIKE IT. Maybe not on hydraulics or quite so expensive rims, but definitely low, and clean. Debadging due, perhaps.

    Caliper Painting?

Sounds like previous failed attempts at brake painting with rubbish paint :D I've got a similar set of little brushes, they're a lifesaver.

    Caliper Painting?

Hammerite has never been a problem for me before, if they're new calipers - no problem, if they're not, a good wire brush/break cleaner/wire brush/water/wire brush/more water should key it up sufficiently.

    "My '87 Accord GSi"

Josh, that Accord is delightful. Glad to see it with test!

    Mods.. where to start?

I'd much love to drop it on it's arras, and I'm one step closer now that my avenue has been resurfaced. Only issue I have is living in the city centre, there are speed cushions all over the place, I'd hate to get stuck. Will probably still do it :D I'm thinking about doing something with the...

    Mods.. where to start?

Hi All, As I said in my caliper colour thread, I've now decided to keep my Accord, so I'll be looking to spend a bit of time and effort tarting her up, but I'm stuck on where to start... she's had over 18 months of abuse and deserves some of my attention, and I promise to stop cheating on her...

    Caliper Painting?

Hi All, After long deliberation (I've been tempted to ditch the Accord and buy a Volvo lately...), I've decided to keep the car medium to long term and make some improvements. First on my list are new brakes. Along with pads and discs, it'll be getting new calipers all round. I will be...

How many miles left in the tank when the petrol light comes on

I do it automatically, even if the car is out of gear when I stop, I put it in gear. It's actually impossible to load my van with a fork lift unless it's in gear or there is someone sat with their foot on the brake! Sprinters have dire handbrakes.

How many miles left in the tank when the petrol light comes on

I thought everyone parked in gear  Everyone I know does!

what bulbs are for the headlights?

The headlamps are so weak on the Accord it's hard to notice when one has gone.

How many miles left in the tank when the petrol light comes on

I've never seen the petrol light on my Accord  Farrrr too paranoid.

    Ride Quality

I genuinely want to try a Type V. Just to see if I notice any difference from my SE Exec.

    Ride Quality

My 6th gen is not the softest, it isn't crashy, but it could be softer, however, I forget the (slightly) harsh ride when I need the car to handle, and it by far makes up for it there. Mine is on 146k and still feels well.

    MOT fail shokkkka

This woman drives an Alfa Romeo, but not because it's an Alfa, because it looked the prettiest... I despair some days. She's failing to understand that in 18 months of ownership, I've spent less than two of her car payments on my Accord, including purchase price, servicing, tyres and MOT. For...

    MOT fail shokkkka

My other half's constant cries of "get rid of it, it's rubbish" aren't disheartening me, either. People can't believe it's a £400 car. Recently drove a Nissan Primera of a similar vintage and couldn't believe how much more dynamic the Honda is, in fact, our works pool car is a 2005 Mondeo, and...
