Hi guys,
I am really desperate if anyone could help me please.
A month ago my Honda Accord 2004 icdti with 137000 miles on the clock started showing sign of long cranking time on hot engine. I took it lightly and kept on driving. Bearing in mind I do 5 mile journey to n from work. Cold start had no problem so I was not bother until one day when it completely failed to start on hot after several seconds of cranking. Ultimately battery died and AA rescued with east start completely clueless what is the fault. Took the car to local garage and he said it is due to low fuel pressure and start motor. Both replaced and car was ok for a week before it started showing the same signs. Garage told me crank sensor, I replaced that too. Car ok for another week hot n cold. After a week same again. Changed the battery just in case. Car ok for another week. And then it failed again on hot start yesterday when the AA recued with heavy jump start. He advised to check alternator because battery is not charging fully. Replaced alternator and camshaft sensor but car is still start when she wants. Sometime starts perfect on hot and sometime cranks and engine turn over after 20 sec. Myself and garage ran out of ideas what possibly be wrong. No faults on dash, no signs nothing no misfire no power loss once running. All electrics good. Fuel rail working as normal.
Any suggestions, advice is more than welcome. I am losing hope to fix this car.
I have read all topics on google but I think no more google suggestions are there.
