I seen him take the sensor off, and it he said that the sensor was fitted ok. He took of the middle nut on the hub, knocked the nut out, and then from the back showed me the inner ring. On the drivers side it is all smooth, whereas on the passenger side, there are some ridges there (which is what he was describing to be the pulser). On his diagnostics guide (which is what he was following), he was advised to checker the pulser, and then the ABS pump. He said it is very less like to be the ABS pump.
From what I can remember, he a Snap On diagnostics machine, and the code was 12. (12 indicating front o/s sensor)
Anyhow, the bearing is still the same, car drives fine, but just the lights on the dash. He spent 2 hours and only charged me £10 for diagnosing, but said he needed more time to open the bearing, which means I may have to cough up for new bearings on drivers side. Any ideas on cost?
Im off to birmingham this aft, he advised that the car should be fine no problems, I will take it easy with it.
