Accessing the amp

I need to get to the connections to the Amp on my Sat Nav equipped pre facelift tourer.
Do I need to remove the DVD player to get to it or just the head unit?

I think all you need to do is get the DVD drive out - the head unit can stay put. trying to think back to my ICE project...

The amp is a rather small affair

I'm fitting a Parrot bluetooth system but need to connect the box of tricks to the amp, and possibly the headunit too

Can someone just confirm which bit is the amp or what it looks like please?

I've removed the DVD drive and the satnav headunit, but my car has previously had a Nokia phone kit fitted, and I have found an Autoleads phone mute kit plugged in to the head unit.
I'm going to remove this anyway, but can't see any sign of the amp?

Don't worry, I'm getting there now!
Old phone leads were plugged in to the back of the head unit, which I have now removed.
New ones will plug directly in to the amp under the dvd player.

The amp is a little black box at the lower centre section of your console, behind the gear lever. It's held in by 10mm bolts on either side.
