Hi All

just wondered if you could give me your advice on my auto height adjust headlights on my 7th Gen 2005 2.4 Exec.

They stopped working about 9 months ago when I had a rear wing repair where an old girl backed her car into mine (drivers side) I took it to my local garage as the lights were pointing at the floor and all they did was manually wind them up

Anyway I just left it but I want to fix them now - as far as I understand it there are two sensors - one on the rear passenger suspension and one on the drivers front - is that right?

I ***ume that there's some kind of calibration required if bits are changed - is this done through HDS or is there a manual process I can do? I heard that on civics you can short the SCS line and then turn the key three times (while rolling up your trouser leg and turning four times widdershins waving a kipper :)) - not sure if the same applies to Accords?

any help gratefully received!

thanks

Bob

Yep, sensors on front and rear suspension (near side). There's a control unit behind some trim in the driver foot well, although that's unlikely to be the problem (although that did die on mine, I'm the only case I've ever read of that!). The adjustors themselves seize. You should be able to grab the nipple thing at the back of the adjustor and move it freely with your hand, if you can't that's your problem.

Try that first, if they're fine, it will likely be your rear sensor after you got shunted.
