Automatic gearbox oil change advice please

There is a filter underneath the airbox that I changed on mine. I didn't notice much difference from replacing it but I'm sure it helped in some way.

It's really easy to change the fluid I've done it a few times. The whole undertray needs to be removed, undo the bolt and drain the fluid. I take the tray off then go for a run to get the oil hot first. Refit the bolt and fill up with a funnel using the dipstick hole.
I think it was 4.2 litres or just under as you never get all of the old fluid out but it says in the handbook.

So how many litres do I actually need? It says 2.8L at change or 6.3L overhaul. But someone else mentioned 4.2L?

The guides on here say to get 3 liters, not sure where you're getting 4.2 from?
