Hi,
Just a little background on this problem I'm facing.
When I got my 6th gen Accord the fob didn't work at all, neither did the central locking with the key and I couldn't put control any of the windows except my own, but everyone could control there own windows. I discovered the drivers control unit underneath the power window switches was gone so replaced it and I now have the central locking working with the key and I can control all windows from the drivers side
but the fob still didn't function.
I changed the battery and it stated working.. great I thought but the locking was hit and miss. I examined the fob circuit board and the locking button was worn out, I tried to repair it but most have broke it due to my terrible soldering as it stopped working completely. So I purchased another fob from eBay. When I tried to pair the fob I wasn't getting the lock/unlock on the 3rd repeat of the pairing process
In the mean time I've changed the stereo to an after market model as the original was Pioneer tape desk with CD Changer in the boot. Not sure if that has a bearing on the problem but thought I would mention it.
I've looked into the Honda ESM and ran the Keyless entry receiver test as per 23-G-19
I'm not getting continuity between terminals 2,3,4 which means an open in the wire. Where should I be going next with this ??
Also I don't know if this is linked but I found this loose wire and 2 other wires spliced together in the passenger fuse box area on my journey :
