My clutch has just started squeaking and can be heard from outside the car is there an easy fix or is the master cylinder up the left

hi i ve had this problem on my clutch before with sqeaking noise,it could be the same for you, check your clutch fork, there is a spring behind the rubber grommet on the clutch fork, put some grease on the spring not loads just a tiny bit,and see if that helps,it worked for me so far

Mine squeaks aswell, has done since I bought few years ago, it seems to come from the slave cylinder linkage, which looks a bit dry, havent greased it as I dont know what grease to use, cannot find the Urea grease recommended by Honda.

Mine also squeaks from the slave cylinder area, mainly on damp/wet days. I have already lubed the link between the slave cylinder and the clutch release fork with no luck. I guess that I might need to disassemble the slave cylinder and lubricate it inside with brake grease.

As for the urea grease, I bought mine from Lings. The local Honda store didn't ever heard about it

My wife's yaris and my previous civic ep had the same problem. Spray a sh*tload of wd40 on it every 2 months.

Same, used to always get it on damp/wet or wintery days, but have been getting it this summer when its been hot albeit very humid too. It seems to go away when I have been driving continuously for a fair amount of time. Let me know if greasing the inside works for you.

I also phoned some local Honda dealers and also Holdcroft and they didnt even know what it was either! Will try Lings then!

This is what I bought from Lings:

Part Number: 087989002
Part Description: GAEASE,UREA

Try this stuff. It has known to elimnate the common clicking and sqeaking clutch on Honda's > it isnt a permanent fix but more of a re-application every couple months. it doesnt work on all sqeaks though

It has elimnated the common clicking on my clutch. It hasnt re-appeared yet after a month and half
I sprayed it on all the joint and pivots of the clutch and inside the clutch matser cylinder

Used it on my prelude handbrake cable too. Lovely and smooth now :)
Good stuff
