Do the facelift headlights (2005-2008) simply fit into 2003-2004 mk7?

Well the original headlights on my 2004 Accord Tourer are so misty I am not sure they will pass the MOT. I have also had a problem with bulbs blowing out continuously for the last year so am looking at some new headlights in hope they fix the problem.

I think I remember reading here, but cannot find the post, that someone put in the facelifted headlights into their 2003-2005 model. Is it a simple fix or are their fittings different? I called some Honda Garages to ask for their advice but they cannot answer me, saying that they can only offer the original part as they are sure it fits. Will the facelifted lights deal with the condensation/misty oem problems that needed the recall?

I'm also going to change the main negative ground cable (from the battery to the body). It is pretty rusty and I'm hoping that might solve the grounding issues I am suffering. Anyone else noticed how corrosive the original cable gets or is that just me?

Hi, In the Affiliates section you will find Holdcroft Honda, give them a ring, tell them your a Type Accord member and I'm sure they will help you out :) .

Would like to do this to mine as well if they fit. I'm not having the condensation trouble your having but they'll just look better.
If your lights are fogging up inside look at the seal around the light fitting, if there's any gaps or holes put some silicone there and see if it stops it.

I fitted facelift headlights to my pre facelift. They're a straight fit. I think the indicator bulbs are a different colour from memory.

I've just (2days ago) swapped facelift lights onto my pre facelift they are a straight swap you just need a orange 585 bulb.

Yes there a straight fit unless you have factory fitted Hid
