DPF Removal

I have an Accord 59 plate with 68000 miles on the clock at the moment i do not have any issues with DPF but most of my driving is local and if i had known about the problems people are having then i would have brought a petrol car. But my question is if the DPF is removed would the car still pass the MOT ?
