fuel cap not opening

Anyone had this issue? I push the lever in on the floor and it makes a noise but doesn't open. I have to pry it with a bank card to open it

Are you sure,that you done correct,because lever working for two things.

Yes this is my second 7th gen accord

Stevie it might be a case of corrosion on the lock.
Try to get someone pulling the lever in the car wile you push in and out on the cover.
If you get it open give it a good spray with WD40

I can get it open by putting a bank card etc. through the gap and pushing the release down. The release does seem a bit stiff to push, I will try greasing it up a bit.
