Hello! Honda new owner here - I've done quite a comprehensive search before posting, so please forgive me if this is covered somewhere...
Bought a 55 plate Accord Tourer Sport 2.2 diesel recently - 107,000 miles.
In 3 weeks since buying I've done ~700 miles with 2 instances where on higher than normal revs (3.5k to 4k) the glow plug indicator has started flashing, the car judders then EML comes on.
Starting and turning off the engine a few times clears it and it drives fine thereafter. No juddering on idle, starts first time from cold.
FAULT CODES -
5F0A - "unknown" on screen
5F10 - "unknown" on screen
P1384 - Fault on glow plugs
P0087 - Fuel rail pressure too low
P1065 - Fuel rail pressure lower than expected
Car had full service by local garage straight after I bought it - (Bluepoint?) fuel filter done which apparently is OEM?
Any help appreciated, as it's going into a more specialist garage soon who may well rip me off if I don't know my onions!
- Will any additives or sprays (such as BG244, Bardahl cleaners such as that for the EGR valve)
For clarity, I'm around the 3 spanner mark on Haynes manual jobs!
