Hi All,

So im hoping this will be an easy one. I was replacing a suspension arm on my accord and I broke the wire for the ABS sensor.

I have since repaired the wire with heat shrink solder sleeves but my handbrake light is staying on - do i need to clear the fault with an obd scanner or is it the case that the sensor has took further damage?

It needs to go on a diagnostic to see what the error is.

You can't always solder abs wiring as it alters the resistance value which confuses the abs/VSA system. Best way to repair is to twist the copper wiring together and then hold it together with heatshrink.
