How much gear oil in my 2007 Ctdi 6 speed gearbox

Ive had to buy a gearbox from a breakers due to mine breaking , a local mechanic will be doing the job , I just need to know roughly how many litres of oil I will need to buy

I will be buying fully synthetic 75w 90 gear oil

I would use the proper Honda MTF stuff and get it from HH
You will need just over 2 litres, about £22ish for 3 1L bottles from HH if I remember rightly.

I agree with Dave, don't use anything else another than Genuine Honda MTF (manual transmission fluid)

there is a level plug on the side of the gear box which you can take off and when oil comes out of there you are full. It shows you in the handbook

2.2 litres and do not use anything other than genuine honda mtf3

Brilliant ive just ordered 2 litre's of Honda MTF , Ive got half a litre of this oil in the garage
