Bought an accord 1.8 Sport with 110000 miles on it i got the car for £540.
Since i've had it i;'ve discovered a few issues with it
I've had to replace all 4 tyres which i knew i'd have to do, but i discovered at the tyre place that the rear left tyre was a SNOW tyre and the wrong size.
The rear right tyre had a bodged repair job done to it and was dangerous
I then took it to a Honda specialist to get a full service, gearbox oil change and EGR cleaning.
When he opened the bonnet he grabbed a wire out of know where and said "Who the **** has done that!"
It appears whoever replaced the battery with the new one, didn't remove the old broken life connector and left it on the engine block and used some dodgy old piece of wire to make up the connection
Admittedly i don't know much about cars and didn't spot anything out of order, however the car feels tight and smooth to drive with no noises or knocks so i'm still happy with my purchase and willing to invest to get her in tip top order
i've replaced the semi synthetic crap that was in the engine with some fuchs ***an 5w40, however i've ordered some motul oil and i'll stick that in soon i aim to get rid of all the crud that i know will have accumulated in the engine due to chav money scrimping ownership.
Moral of the story - DO NOT buy cars from chavvy single mothers
