Hello I have a 2009 Honda Accord 2.2 Idtec,
remaped to 198, egr and DPF delete/removal.
The map and DPF where done over 2 years ago,
Recently my EGR valve clogged.
I got it deleted and removed 2 months ago.
It was firing car into limp mode.
Removed egr and delete solved the problem.

But recently the car randomly goes into limp mode again,
and decides to come out when it wants.

There is no Check engine light when it goes in to limp mode.
I also have no fault codes when I plug her in.

I have absolutely no idea what the problem is. And it has been going on for 2/3 weeks now
Any advice would be great, thanks :)

Yep speak to whoever flashed your software. I suspect something a little sneaky and actually very dangerous has happened where the dtc table has been removed. You could potentially have a catastrophic engine failure and the ecu wouldn't register any errors.

Have you checked the egr is opening,I suspect if you connect hds says it closed

I have same problem. Limp mode, rev 2100 ,dashboard showing management light. Mechanic advice to check glow plugs. Any diy or advice would be appreciated. Cheers

If you have a management light on then you don't have the same problem.

Your mechanic advised to change glow plugs? What's the error you're getting? Is it an 8th gen IDtec car?

I have been still suffering with this problem nearly a year on,
Car is now perminantly in limp mode with no CEL or codes.
