Noise while reversing

Dude! More detail needed man. What kind of noise? Any idea whereabouts in the car it might be coming from? E.g. front, back, suspension, clutch, engine etc?
 
Have you checked to see if you ran over a cat?
 
Could be your brakes binding but without more info this thread is useless

When I was in cardiff the trucks were bilingual. Unfortunately, it took so long for it to say "Warning. Vehicle reversing" in welsh that by the time it got to the english you were already under its wheels.
 
Thanks for the reply, here is more info, hard noise (something heating or obstructing something) when i m reversing, its coming from under the bonnet, but dont no exactly from where. i will appreciate your help.
 
It may be something stuck in the disc dust shield like a small stone. Does it do it in reverse only and everytime?
 
Could it be coming from the gearbox? A bit of whining is normal as the revese gear in a car is unbevelled (cheaper) and therefore normally whines.

Start reversing and then put into neutral, to see if noise stops or not. (with car still rolling backwards obviously)

Just what I was thinking! could you record the noise and put it on you tube or something?
 
If it's under the bonnet and only doing it when you're in reverse then it sounds like a gearbox problem.. and I have to say, this must the first broken Accord gearbox I'm hearing about so hope it isn't that.
