Sunroof not tilting

The slide function of my sunroof works perfectly, but when I press the button again to tilt it up nothing happens, no noise from the motors or anything.
Does anyone know if the tilt function uses the same motor as the slide function?
If it does then I am guessing its probably just a microswitch somewhere.

are you pushing the button towards the front of the car? or are you pushing it up towards the top of the car?

Hehehe it's been a while since I've seen this topic come up... have to admit it caught me out too.

Dave you need to push the switch in towards the roof (not back or forth).

Sounds like a nice easy fix, just a driver error problem
I'll give it a go this morning and report back

Yep that fixed it, I just wish my window was as easy to fix

I didn't even know my sunroof tilted! I was just thiniking today, wouldn't it be nice if it did...

Took me 6 months to realise it tilted, but only after seeing other members pics, and another 2 weeks to work out how to make it happen.
