Hi, I cant seem to find any boot dimensions apart from in litres. Anyone know how long and wide it is with rear seats down and up? Thinking of doing up the bathroom. Also do a bit of snowboarding so would be handy to find out before I buy one.

Anyone out there with a tourer and a tape measure?????

I'm not measuring it right now but it is one of the bigger estates out there

These measurements are quite conservative (and taken in the dark).

Seats up:
About 130 wide, 100cm between the arches
About 106 long at boot floor, 80cm at top of seat back.
Big enough to take a washing machine.

Seats down
About 175cm long to base of folded rear seat. You can find more for long narrow objects by putting them in at an angle.

I also find this cubic foot measure annoying, took a tape to get an idea on the new civic tourer, but forgot my glasses. LOL

GOT MY GLASSES ON AND TAPE, the accord is in old English rear seats down, door to door i.e across 4'5'', between the rear arches across 3'8'' and from back of front seats to load bay protector 6'3'' a little more can be gained if not flat i.e. on top of the cargo net carriers. I reckon Honda missed a trick by not allowing the passenger front seat back drop forward, ala Vauxhall Omega but you cannot have everything.

I'm over 180cm and when seats where down I could stretched myself in a boot to have a nap, so it's quite big :D

Thanks for that guys, Plenty big enough. Could probably have a game of carpet bowls in the back by the sounds of it!

I moved house with my tourer with the only exception being the sofa.Suprising how much you can cram in the back .

It was sticking out a bit, but I got a 3-seater sofa in mine!

And 3 metre lengths of copper plumbing with all doors and tailgate closed.

I've had one of these in my Tourer:

Baby's got back ;) !

I can also fit my cottage piano in the Tourer (looks like this):

Moved house twice with the Tourer. She's simply legendary when it comes to load carrying. Such a spacious boot cavity.

I've had a 3 seat sofa in the back of mine, also a single bed and mattress. Comfortably swallows 2 adult sized mountain bikes without removing the wheels, although I got fed up of messing the inside of the car up so they now go on a roof rack. The biggest limiting factor for big items is the curve in the top of the hatch and the lump that accommodates the tailgate motor.
