mine never came on again so never replaced anything in the end.... result.

check the fuel injector seals. if one of these isnt completely doing its job then you will get fumes inside the car. open the bonnet, remove the black plastic engine cover and check around the injectors. if there is wet looking, black spray down there then the seal needs replacing. they cost...

i changed my brake lines to HEL s/s braided ones and they are much better. worth looking into as they are more responsive now

Brembo direct replacement on mine and very happy with them so far

mines done almost 150K now and as good as when i first bought it 4-5 years ago with 90K on it. no engine issues at all, just everything else.......

They are back on so I guess I'll be ordering the sensor.. With the lights on does the ABS and VSA still work?

i had all sorts of bad things going through my head at one time thinking that it could potentially right my car off with a huge bill. i am aware that there are companies that recon the units but i couldnt be without a car for any length of time due to work etc..... if the light comes back on...

FHSH all the way for me if i had the choice. a DIY service history even with receipts doesnt mean that the job has been done well or even correct. it also to me shows that its basically just had new oil and filters and never really had a good look over by a mechanic. how do you know that the DIY...

what year is your car? sounds pretty much the same as mine with mine being the EX instead of the sport. i would feel bad to sell mine for much less than 2K tbh....

i agree that the work done doesnt add value to a car as its just maintenance but it does show that the car has had all the usual issues resolved and by a reputable place. if people do a bit of research then they will be aware of the common issues that come with their new choice of car and to see...
