Hello again everyone.
just a quick update on my car ownership. the 53 plate CR-V now has a massive 80K on the clock, and for the 2nd year it's failed the mot. needs a fair amount of welding, there's a 2 inch gap between the inner and outer sills the full length of the car on both sides. it's...
thats right, both from scrapyard, some hot glue and filler works wonders :)
over weekend I'll try and find the build thread, it used to be on here but I deleted my PB account
I tried and failed to build a mesh one.... I did use the normal one and build a badgeless one, sadly though I gave all 3 grilles away when I sold my car a few years ago.
oh and Genaccord no longer belongs to me....

couldnt find the Type-r one but you get the idea... no1 is the bit you need :)
have you tried Honda?
I got the insert (not the chrome bit) for £20-something (that was 3 years ago)
there may still be some new ones knocking around..
both the pre and facelift grilles are not interchangeable, I have tried this before, shame my old forum information was deleted (I used to run Genaccord)
personally I could not do with big gaps. it's your car though....
bung them in the oven to heat the glue up the separate them, there are some DIY halo's on youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_3dDj4EJCjA never tried it myself, I personally would get a set from the scrappies and do it to them first?
have you seen the **** end of my Tatty old accord?

it's off a 2000 civic coupe, although where I live there's a Black Accord with the same one, it could have been an option ?
usually the first mod ANYONE does is make it breathe properly, filter, eggsauce then go from there. you can do Lightened pulleys which do free up a couple of horseys but they are normally on a big list further down the line, Si has done his ATR.
