I tried and failed to build a mesh one.... I did use the normal one and build a badgeless one, sadly though I gave all 3 grilles away when I sold my car a few years ago. oh and Genaccord no longer belongs to me....

have you tried Honda? I got the insert (not the chrome bit) for £20-something (that was 3 years ago) there may still be some new ones knocking around..

both the pre and facelift grilles are not interchangeable, I have tried this before, shame my old forum information was deleted (I used to run Genaccord) personally I could not do with big gaps. it's your car though....

when i fitted a Fujita one to my old 2.0 it was addictive, very loud though, certainly turned some heads in V-tec!!
