I tried and failed to build a mesh one.... I did use the normal one and build a badgeless one, sadly though I gave all 3 grilles away when I sold my car a few years ago. oh and Genaccord no longer belongs to me....

have you tried Honda? I got the insert (not the chrome bit) for £20-something (that was 3 years ago) there may still be some new ones knocking around..

both the pre and facelift grilles are not interchangeable, I have tried this before, shame my old forum information was deleted (I used to run Genaccord) personally I could not do with big gaps. it's your car though....

when i fitted a Fujita one to my old 2.0 it was addictive, very loud though, certainly turned some heads in V-tec!!

usually the first mod ANYONE does is make it breathe properly, filter, eggsauce then go from there. you can do Lightened pulleys which do free up a couple of horseys but they are normally on a big list further down the line, Si has done his ATR.

dude you can buy bluetooth code readers for £15, I'd look at one then your not keep paying for the service, then you can get to the bottom of the problem using these guys knowlegde!

you checked the earth leads?....there are quita a few tucked away, will do no harm replacing them even if they don't need it. plus it makes the bay look pretty :)

I actually managed to repair the old mirror using the motor bits out of the new mirror so I did'nt even have to take it off the car, again proves Honda build quality, hit at 30 MPH by a 3.5t tipper and just a few pieces of plastic came off, all works fine now :) used the paint for a bumper...
