What engine size and model please buddy? Have u checked the dizzy cap and rotor arm?? I'd also check the maf or map sensor dependent on which your engine has buddy. If it was when engine was at running temp id check the camshaft positioning sensor

If your running a k&n why don't u remove the bottom box and run the k&n as an open airbox design and run cold Air feed??? That's what I did with my f18b2 accord sport. Crisper throttle response and very impressive vtec engagement sound.

The reason you don't hear the vtec switch over is because of the airbox and resonator. If you run a pipercross panel filter or k&n panel filter and run an open airbox you will hear vtec very dramatically. Obviously as blue said, with sohc vtec lumps you won't ever feel a vtec kick. As there's...

Hi mate, did u replace the solenoid gasket? as if the fine mesh is clogged it will put the management light on. did u check the vtec solenoid is functional?

My mate brought his 2002 face lift type r in feb and it only covered 77k miles with full honda history to 75k miles for Just 1750. was one owner from new and was absolutly mint, never driven wet days and kept in the guys damp free garage, so to me I think thats red 1 is well over priced. ;)
