New clutch fitted, can't engage gears properly.

If you don't mind me asking how much did the clutch replacement cost and where was it done ? Might be needing one myself in the not so distant future. And a stage 1 plus EGR delete remap to go with it of course :) Cheers Robin

    Clutch on its way out

I've never understood this either tbh.... surely the preloading just sets up the initial pedal feel ? I would have thought that over a few hundred operations the self adjustment on the cover plate would kick in. Happy to see things another way if somebody can explain things better. Cheers Robin

    Another driveshaft snapped!

Ours just go out of balance rather than snapping :-)

    OBD port snapped

Mine snapped on one side too - I think the plastic becomes brittle over time so I wouldn't be too hard on yourself. As for fixing it, best way I found was to buy a 6" extension cable so that the socket could be routed to a more convenient location.

Soft brakes after replacing front pads only

I think Pagid are OK - have seen the same effect with Bendix pads too, in both cases I'd not replaced the discs. Previously (on a different motor) I fitted Pagid discs and pads on the front and the brakes were excellent within a very short distance. Cheers Robin

OBD Diagnostic port - its playing hide and seek!

Mine did that - the plastic clip on one side has snapped off so when pushed it just pops straight out again. Grrr.... Couldn't see an obvious way to fix it, so I found it easier to buy a short extension flylead OBD cable and leave it plugged in. HTH Cheers Robin

    Parking Sensor woes

You've said 'speaker open circuit' - surely that's your problem. Speakers generally exhibit a DC resistance of between 4 to 16 ohms. That's ***uming it is a moving coil loudspeaker and not a piezo transducer, which would most likely read the same order of DC resistance as your sensors. Put...

    Clutch problem

I've also had this happen - 4 years and 43,000 miles ago when I first purchased the car. Started to save for a new clutch, then it stopped happening and has been fine ever since. Usual spot was when coming off the M69 onto the M6 with a bootful of boost !

Anyone fitted a dashcam in a 8th Gen Accord?

That board looks a good bet - you can get the same thing for less on Ebay though from Hong Kong. I have an almost identical board powering my Brodit cradle for my phone handset - it was cheaper to buy the version with the cigar lighter plug, chop that off and wire it to one of these pcb's than...

Anyone fitted a dashcam in a 8th Gen Accord?

Hi Steven, Sorry no it was a good while ago and I didn't take any pictures. The power take off is from within the interior light housing, it's from here that the electronic dipping mirror gets its feed too. The supply cable runs within the oem square section trunking which is split into two...
