in heavy rain or ice, travelling at 70mph would not be recommended anyway....... :D ACC should be fine.........you just need to ensure that the vehicle speed is appropriate for the road conditions.

Is it possible to scrape a bit of the window tint so that the rear camera has a clear view. If that makes sense......

Automatic gearbox fluid should be checked at full temperature. Have you read the owners handbook? :D

It should not be a problem, if it has full Honda history. How many owners? As with most cars, if they haven't been thrashed in their life, then they will easily do 200,000 miles. And Honda Accord should do 250,000 miles easily. Question you need to ask is, "what is your alternative"

I have a saloon, so maybe I'm lucky.... :) Not sure why they 2 different braking systems for the saloon and tourer. Don't make sense.

Does anyone else park with handbrake OFF (especially overnight), and does it help to prevent the rear calipers seizing?

Hello Facelift saloon. What holds the rear parking sensor in it's place? How can I take it out of the bumper, without removing the bumper. I want to clean it, grease it, and put it back in place. Cheers

Sounds like you really like the car. Spend the grand on it, and take a chance. 200 to 250K miles shouldn't be a problem for this car.

Are you wanting to do this because you have a problem with the gearbox that wasn't mentioned in the 1st post? Did you change the autobox filter as well?

The black underseal should do the trick. As long as you can stop water/air getting to it then it should stop the rust spreading; or have i got this bit wrong?
