Thanks for the info. I've just checked this yellow/green wire with a meter and yes it only gets 12v when you switch on the stock hu. I'll be honest i'm not an expert when it comes this stuff, but could you explain what the differnce is in the output of the signal coming from the rca cabling...

I dont need to use the stock hu, but just need it for the ac heating and clock display. The aftermarket hu is a double din with satnav mp3 etc. Like u say I suspect the amp is getting a switch on signal from the stock hu

The 2004 Accord steering wheel controls are ****ogue. So if you have installed an aftermarket HU, which has connections for SWC for ****ogue signals, than chances are it will work, with a bit of fidling.

Just installed an Xtrons double din head unit in my EX. It includes a couple of wires to connect to the steering wheel audio buttons, but only works with ****ogue signals. Can anyone confirm if the steering audio controls buttons on the accord are digital or ****ogue?

I'm installing a reverse camera on my 7th gen accord, the camera gets its power from the reverse light at the rear, but for the monitor to switch to the camera, i need to tap into the reverse light at the front. Does anybody know where the reverse wire is?

Anyone got a list of what each pin on the oem audio wiring loom is for? This is for the blue connector on an accord 2.0 exec without satnav. I'm looking at making my own harness to an aftermarket hu (bits from metraonline.com) so i don't have to cut into existing wiring loom.

Does the aux port have the outputs enough to power an aftermarket HU? i.e speakers + power, thats all i need.

Mutsaip, could you let me know which dashkit you have installed here?, I've been looking at the Connect2 and Autleads dash kit, not sure which is the best fit. Can you still play CD/Radio on the OEM system? BTW - Install looks great! Thanks Kal
