    Poor dipped beam.

answered your own question, the previous owner as replaced the lamps and for some reason not set up the beam pattern. its easy enough prk the car facing a wall/garage and then adjust the beam till they are in line, the adjuster is on the top of the headlamp, if its still rubiish after that then...

before you spend any money. Mine started planning up on my car a couple of years back, went into limp mode lights on dash etc, Honda wanted £215.00 to replace. I ended up spraying some electrical contact spray on both ends of the electrical connection which goes into the sensor, cost £5 and...

    Need Help !

just read this and your other topic, could the fault be electrical related? sounds like a loose battery connection or bad earth? Check all in take pipes to, there's a strong possibility something has been knocked when the rack was done.

help to diagnose a couple of issues.

No the feeling has been there a while, but has got better with every bit I have replaced. The old tyres where badly worn and worn unevenly, so replacing these has made a big difference but it is definitely not right. Thanks for the tip on the top knuckle I'll get that checked tomorrow and...

help to diagnose a couple of issues.

Just to explain the 3Rd point further, at low revs the car can sometimes feel hesitant, I am 90% sure it is connected to issues 1&2. The car 4wheel alligned after the compliance bushes and drop links where done, so it's not a tracking issue. Is there any way of diagnosing which bush/joint is...

help to diagnose a couple of issues.

Looking for a second opinion, so I don't go out spending money on bits I don't need, I have a couple of problems but not sure if they are connected. This is the situation; 1. I am getting a vague/wayword steering feel at high speed, when in a straight line the car just doesn't feel planted, and...

    DIY Alternator change

thanks for this, changed the alternator on the weekend, the biggest challenge is access. And make sure you get the longest 14mm spanner you can! I managed by putting other spanner through the loop to give more leverage, but a big spanner would have made the job loads easier.

Partial Respray on Arctic Pearl Blue

my cars the same colour. I had to get the bodywork section above the doors sprayed after an accident with my bikes on the roof, the bodyshop did a superb job and you cant tell any different, but to make it all match I think they endend up blending it into the rear quarters. Take it to a...
