    Auto gearbox range switch

That’s a good shout tbh. I have had a few issues sometimes pressing the silver button on the thing to get it out of park, but that was a switch thing that was above the brake pedal. Cause when it wouldn’t come out of park, the brake lights weren’t on lol. Do you know if the selectors are plug...

    Auto gearbox range switch

I had thought that, but Honda couldn’t find any further continuity errors. I know the service manager personally and had 2 hours trouble shooting for free lol. I have decided that I’ll get the front disks and pads done, ball joint and lower control arm thing on the rear and then just drive it...

    Auto gearbox range switch

Faddy!!!!! I’ve missed you my dude! So, the fault code does not pop up anymore (no EML light) but when moving away between 1st and 2nd gear, sometimes the d3 light flickers. Push it into tiptronic and all is good lol. I have decided that I will live with it. Going to get new disks and pads on...

    Auto gearbox range switch

Hey all, So, 2.0 2004 Auto Accord Tourer. One day my D light started flashing and that threw up the EML. Got the code read and was a short in the gearbox range switch. Had it replaced today, and Honda dealer just called saying it hasn’t solved the issue and the fault code is the same - ‘short...

    Very smokey Diesel engine bay...

Hey all, Not posted for a while, and was hoping my next post would be announcing my dads new 8th hen, and not a failt :( Anywho, my dads got a fully loaded 2010 Accord tourer diesel automatic. It only on 106,000 miles. When I bought the car there was a little smell off exhaust gas, but it...

Installing oil and water temp gauges.

Thanks for the replies peeps. Shuthan, have you got a link to your pics mate? CL9, would I be able to wire in any gauges? I've got some spares from my track car, so as long as I can mount them somewhere I like, will they be alright to use? Hopper that's a great idea!!! I didn't think about...

Installing oil and water temp gauges.

Hey all, Just a general wondering really, has anyone fitted aftermarket oil and water temp gauges? I ask as I like to know what's going on with the temps...especially when I'm sat in stop start traffic in 26+ degrees and am 4-6 hours from home after a day on the mtb. Got stuck by...

    Popping bulbs. Grrrr

Hey dudes, Long time since I've been on, I'll try to get on more frequently. Still loving my tourer. It's taken me across Europe and all over the UK. And even got 499.4 miles from ONE tank of petrol! (85% motorway). But recently he's starting popping quite a few bulbs. In the last 3...

    2.0 Aux Belt

Have you already done/had done the revised auxiliary belt route change? The revised one is shorter so as to take pressure off of a pulley or two.

    Brake pad change.

Found this and thought it might be helpful to someone. My brakes started squealing today so I need to wait till the motor factors are open on Tuesday to get some new ones. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=WTkBI78luXM But here it is anyway.

Sorry - another seized rear brake calliper thread - calliper replacement recommendations please :-)

Sweet, cheers dudes. I'll get them ordered up once I get paid lol. Why is the nearside calliper £20 more than the offside? That has me worried that I'll order the wrong parts.

Sorry - another seized rear brake calliper thread - calliper replacement recommendations please :-)

Sorry to butt in on your thread Steve, but I'm confused. The site says there are two options fitted to the tourer. I'm ***uming I need the NON-handbrake calliper? Im gonna replace both near and offside calipers whilst I take the hub apart to check my grinding noise. Are these the right ones...

    Random gearbox oil question.

Hey dudes. Random one tonight. Just wondering what the service intervals are for the 7th gens auto gearbox. I had the auto gearbox oil changed when I bought the car 30k ish miles ago. Is it time to change it again? I've had a search but couldn't find anything. Cheers dudes, Si.

    Cold starting issue 2.2 cdti

If it turns but doesn't fire easily it's probably air getting into the system somewhere or low fuel pressure. I've got this current problem with my van. Get to a mechanic and prime to engine to fire and see what level of fuel pressure you get in the rails. Then start the car and see what...

    Think my car is invisible

Unfortunately I also have this problem daily when driving the Accord. Don't know what it is. All the time I'm being tail gated, pulled out on and cut up. It really boils my pi55 sometimes. It rarely happened when I had the ATR, very rarely happens in the van, but NEVER and I mean never happens...
