Sounds like thehead has rusted off of the bolt/rivit just get the old bit out of the exhaust (easier said then done though) and put a new one in. Give them a good clean up whilst youre at it too :) .

If your tourer is younger than 7 years and i think 100k miles, if you have the right fault code stored on the ecu then you may get it fixed under the extended warranty. This is what I did, they weren't even bothered about having full honda history either.

If thats town driving I reckon around £35 - 40 . From your previous posts you seem very hung up on MPG, if so is this really a good choice of engine for your impending purchase.

That side impact was dealt with far better than on the 7th gen, quite impressed with that. It's just a shame that whatever they do on the side protection you're body just can't cope with it.

I get a range of just under 300 miles from a full tank 2003 2.4 exec tourer auto. I dont have a mpg readout on my car.
