Hi I'm Al a new user.
I have a 56 plate Type S 2.0 petrol model that I've had for 9 years and its been brilliant other than the usual parasitic drain from the bluetooth module... until a few weeks ago.
Went to go out in the car and the engine management light came on, since then the car throttle isn't responding, I had it plugged in and the code indicated that the ECU isn't receiving a signal from the throttle positioning sensor (TPS).
Since then I have worked through replacing parts to try and rectify the problem with no success. I have replaced the TPS ***embly (its the facelift model with drive by wire setup), I've replaced the throttle body, the module in the passenger footwell. Next on my list are the relays in the passenger footwell, then the ECU.
I was wondering if anyone else has had a similar issue? If anyone has then can you please share your experience?
Does anyone know of a Honda specialist in the North West?
Cheers, Al
