Hi everyone!
So my EX 2.2 TCDI 07 is rattling at 152K miles and im thinking its the timing chain...
Anyway, i may attempt to change this on my own as I know it will cost close to the value of the car to get done at a garage
Ive found multiple timing chain kits off ebay, but I have no scope for how much they are or should be going for (besides the ebay sellers value of them)
Because of the milage of the car im thinking to do both chains, tensioners, and guides? So I am looking for a whole kit and here is what ive found
What seems like an aftermarket kit
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/HONDA-ACCORD-CRV-FRV-CIVIC-2-2DIESEL-CDTi-N22A1-N22A2-TIMING-CHAIN-OIL-PUMP-KIT/321988311665?hash=item4af7ffba71:g:WosAAOSwx6pYneon
Honda genuine kit?

So here are my questions!
Considering the price difference, has anyone fitted the lower priced kit? Or should I play it safe with genuine parts??
Also some silly newbie fitting questions, when doing the timing chain...
Does the oil need changing?
Do the injectors need taking out? If so, is this a pain? Also will they need replacing?
I have ordered myself a workshop manual but until then all ive got to go on is these awesome posts from you lovely people (read a few timing chain ones) and ofcourse, youtube haha
Thanks you for any replies and input!
