Good job. Did you not contemplate using the ep3 gears in the cl7 housing? The gearing on the stock cl7 is quite bad so changing them would be a big upgrade.

Yee haa the ep3 gearbox will not go in the accord as the mounts are not the same but the internals can be swapped over. K20a2 swap should be fairly straightforward, but there is also the option of just swapping heads and that way getting the "high cam" or "power" vtec.

You do not have a cm1. Cm1 is a 2.0 petrol tourer.

And mine is not the premium sound system with the 6cd changer.

I do believe it's the orange one going by memory of the other accords I've owned but like I said don't know the colour of mine.

I don't know how it was backlit, just bought the car and it came like this. So it could be just turned off?

Anybody fix this problem in a euro accord. Found a bunch of instructions for the us accord that has the same looking dash and this seems to be a common issue but after disassembly I can see that the units themselfs are different so the fixes don't help? Searched but can't find any fix or thread...

I was one of few that got a hondata reflash, running a tsx ecu in my 06 type S. First when I got it it had a few cels but after sending it back to hondata they erased those cels and it ran beautifully but when I asked them for them same later when I bought my 05 type S then they said they...

But to the original post I would think that the k20a2 would be the perfect option and you could probably use swap guides from usa for swapping the ep3 Si where they remove the k20a3(pretty much the same motor as the k20a6) and swap in the k20a2.

I know the vtec window is smaller but exact same vtec on both, and that small window is nothing that a reflash can't fix. Had my 06 type-S reflashed back in 06 ran the hondata flash on a tsx ecu and then the xover was 4850rpm and redline was moved to 7600rpm, gained a bunch of midrange power...

The k24a3 in the accord has the same "proper" vtec as the k20a2 in the ep3/dc5.

Happened on my 05 type S back in the day and a new bearing was needed as well as the new sensor.

I bought one rear right orginal TSX abs sensor when I went to las vegas last summer. light does come on from time to time but I suspect that´s because I didn´t get all the sensor pieces out when I drilled out the old one?
