Just about to replace my existing system this weekend, although only for a standard OEM system as mine is blowing at the y-piece split. Only £135 delivered from Holdcroft at the moment!

Well I used a multimeter on the wiring on the weekend and can confirm that that 12V is definately getting to the boot closer unit, its just not providing an earth once the boot is lifted. i.e. once the closer mechanism is "open". I might try and have another go after holiday, but i'm half...

Hi all, Does anyone know where the alarm siren is located on a 2003 Tourer? The reason being that I've realised that if I set my alarm off, all I get is indicator flashes, but no sound! Not great, and I expect this is due to a faulty siren / battery pack. Any help is much appreciated, Matt
