    Car won't start help!

I had similar last year. squeeze the priming bulb till it goes hard. Then get someone to turn over the engine whilst you are squeezing the priming bulb as fast as you can. You will need to squeeze the bulb as fast as you can because it will go soft as soon as you start turning the engine over.

Car broken into - No signs of forced entry

lol, thats true, :D The keys were out of reach from the kids, I'm pretty sure I locked it and if the lights didn't flash when I locked it, I would have noticed. Hopefully this will be a one off. I'll check with the neighbours when I get back home tonight.

Car broken into - No signs of forced entry

I went to my car this morning and found the front driver door ajar. Funny, I thought maybe I forgot to close it. I opened the door and found the contents of the glove box, door pockets and all cubby holes etc on the floor. The only thing they seem to have taken is some aftershave which I used...

CTDi sudden loss of power on motorway

I think they simply tried to read the DTCs. I doubt they would have a HDS. I would have thought low fuel pressure would be more of a problem on hard accelaration rather than drivingon the motorway at constant speed. I've also noticed a recent drop in mpg on my car its been down to 430miles on...

    ABS/VSA lights

Imi, The sensor is only approx 1-2mm away from the pulsator so its very easy to do. For some reason I thought that it was about 10-15mm so I didn't think too much of it, I did mark my drill bit too. You learn from experience and hindsight is a wonderful thing. Luckily I got my hub and bearing...

    ABS/VSA lights

You've drilled a bit too far in the hub and damaged the magnetic pulsator ring on the wheel bearing hub. New hub and bearing I'm afraid. I know from experience!!!!
