    Strange behaviour from climate control

What a helpful chap! I was wondering about it needing regassing but thought surely it wouldn't work at all - your reply makes perfect sense. A trip to KwikKrap will be scheduled - they charge £40 which sounds fairly reasonable. Thanks Crespo - cheers - phil

    Strange behaviour from climate control

Hi peeps, My '05 2.0 litre petrol Accord Tourer has been playing up a bit with the climate control. It will blow refrigerated air and make things nice and cool, then it'll stop blowing cold air after about 10 minutes and circulate warm air instead which is annoying and makes all occupants hot...

Renew your key fob for less than a tenner

Sorry I didn't reply earlier - I just got a small screwdriver and gently prised the maggot from its plastic home. It had some gunk round it which I ***ume is some glue or sealent or whatever. Anyway, it came out fairly easily - I would NOT apply heat to it if you ever want it to work again!

Renew your key fob for less than a tenner

Mmm - I didn't realise this was an option - would it have been possible to fit the old key blade into one of these?

Renew your key fob for less than a tenner

Having got totally fed up with my keyfobs falling to bits with insulating tape keeping them together, I felt there must be another way of renewing your key without giving 200 quid to your local Honda dealer. There is. Read on: I made my first one a few months back and it's still very solid, so...

If I remove a seat & seat belt is that MOT failure?

Found a company who refurbish seatbelts - sent the belt away on Tuesday, they rang today - £45 on the visa and they've replaced the webbing and checked everything and the belt is coming back tomorrow - very quick service - I was impressed. They are here: http://www.quickfitsbs.com/index.php

If I remove a seat & seat belt is that MOT failure?

Phew, seat removed, MOT passed with an advisory of "Rear N/S seat missing" New MOT certificate a bit of a letdown - plain A4 paper. Bloke in garage ranting about how they have to buy the paper now. The price for doing the suspension bushes was: 2 x Lower suspension bushes: £61.56 1 x Anti...

If I remove a seat & seat belt is that MOT failure?

I am planning on getting the seat back into the car with a decent seatbelt, but I just want the car to pass the MOT on Monday, so I'll go for seat removal then refit it as soon as I can once it's fixed. Or just put the old seat plus belt back in after the MOT - if you saw the tiny bit of...

If I remove a seat & seat belt is that MOT failure?

That's the one I bought!!!!!! from Apex car breakers - problem is - it's not a seat belt from a tourer (as they said) it's from a saloon. They refunded my money and told me to bin the seatbelt, so if anyone wants a NSR seatbelt for a 03-08 Accord saloon, I happen to have a spare!

If I remove a seat & seat belt is that MOT failure?

Because of my ongoing saga in trying to replace the nearside rear seatbelt in my Accord Tourer, I will not have the replacement belt in place by Monday when the car has an MOT retest. If I remove the nearside rear seat in its entirety, seatback (with inbuilt seat belt), seat base and seatbelt...

rear seatbelts - are saloon and estate the same?

I can confirm categorically that the rear seat belts for a Tourer are different to those from a saloon. How do I know? because the breaker I bought a belt from, who ***ured me they had belts from both the Tourer and the Saloon has just sent me a seatbelt for a ****ing saloon!

Hello boys & girls I'm just servicing my '05 2.0 tourer i-vtec. I've seen the thread on "Which oil" but it's talking about diesel cars. I like the sound of the Lubetech oil. Which oil should I be putting into my 2.0 petrol lump? Semi-synthetic or fully synthetic? which viscosity? also -...

    DIY - Petrol Service

You refer to some antiseize to put on the spark plug threads. I have some high temperature copper grease which I bought when changing my brake pads - would this do the job ok? or perhaps just a dab of oil on the thread?
