I've bought such a foglight kit for my old ep2 civic. All wiring had plugs on them and they just clicked in place in the fusebox. Even the foglight button was the same size as the other switches so popped in place on the original spot (right from steering wheel, on top of coin drawer) literally...

The dealer (belgium!!) did it with mine too. As my accord doesn't burn oil, i don't check it regularely. So took up to 2500 miles before i noticed. Glad i drive like a grandad...

Use a piggy back cable in an empty slot in the fusebox, wich gives 12v with ignition. Safest bet here.

My 2007 2.0 saloon executive has 300mm, just changed them ;)

On a bumpy road sometimes you can hear the springs (because they are streched) And you have to close the boot harder then normal because of the springs.
