    Rear brake calipers seized again!

Big Reds worked for me - refurbished me rear NS calliper last year. I'm a bit of a novice as far as car mechanics are concerned however this job wasn't bad at all.

    binding rear n/s caliper

I've got the same problem with my OSR caliper, theres a few posts on here regarding seized calipers already. As far as i can see you can get these: http://www.eurocarparts.com/search/133600431/p/home However I'm wondering whether just replacing the pistons and seals will do the job?

    Engine sometimes doesn't start

I used to get this when the engine was warm however I have found that by depressing the clutch the car starts first time, everytime!

    Binded rear caliper

Hi, I changed my rear disks and pads a month or so ago and now the pads on the OSR have been chewed down to nothing. Rather than buying a whole new caliper has anyone just changed the pins/pistons which much luck?

DIY: Full engine service on the Pre Facelift i-CTDI Accord

I've just spoke to Honda to get a price on a oil filter removal tool and £50+ seems a little steep. Can anyone suggest a suitable aftermarket Oil filter socket tool to use?

    Tourer rear Brake change

If you have problems getting that Hose bracket bolt off that Dan uses get yourself to the hardware store and buy some M8 hex bolts. I ended using some 80mm M8s to force my discs off. Gonna get me some of them rubber grommets to help prevent water getting in, hopefully I won't have as much...

    Brake Bleeding - Mityvac

Flushed another 300 ml of fluids through all four corners the pedal still doing the same however this must be a trait of the car I wasn't aware of as after taking the car for a test drive it seems to brake fine. Handbrake just needs adjusting now!

    Brake Bleeding - Mityvac

I've worked around the car from drivers side anti clockwise and the pedal is firm until i start the motor and then it goes all soft and can press the pedal to the floor with little effort.

    Brake Bleeding - Mityvac

Evening all! So i decided to give this changing of discs and pads a go and it has taken me longer than expected due to me brake shoes being seized to the inside of one of my discs and not having all he necessary tools for the job. Anyway I managed to get the bugger off and rebuild me handbrake...

    Tourer rear Brake change

Hi, My OSR brake rotor seems to be stuck on. I have followed Dans writeup (great work by the way) however even after using bolts to much the disc away from the hub, the bugger still doesn't want to come off. I am unable to get to the wind back cog for the shoes because unlike Dans photo my...

DIY - Brake discs and pads change 03+ (updated)

Hello everyone - Long time no posty! So....I'm looking at taking the plunge into changing me discs and pads for the first time. This right up looks great and I'll hopefully be in a position to do this myself soon. I've just had a quote from a local part place and they have quoted me £192 for...

    7th Gen value...

I'll throw a spanner in - I bought my motor for £3800 shortly after, my manifold went, got it replaced through warranty, a couple of weeks later my timing chain decided to disintegrate and took my engine and turbo out in the process. This was all fixed by Honda to the tune of approx £13k. I've...

2.2 CTDI Laboured/Juddering on start up - What's going wrong?

Hi, I found a workaround, I read it somewhere and at first I didn't believe it but it seems to be working so far. All I am doing is turning the ignition on waiting for all the lights to do their bits, starting the engine and pressing the clutch in if the start becomes laboured. Hey presto!
