Does your unit have a traffic announcement or similar button. If so try turning it off. My aerial goes down once that is turned off. It only goes up if I listen to the radio or turn on the updates and announcements. I didn't swap any wiring around.

Mate what happened with the pipercross viper. That's what i have on mine.

Had a look at mine. Looks like it had a badge on the right as you look at it. Probably a type r :huh:

I was searching on Google whilst trying to find some info on the switch. That's where I seen it. Then I asked the previous owner who had the car from new and he said it had been done once. I'll see if I've got any paper work for it.

Some executives came with a type r style grill as well. From what I can see it's the same apart from the badge. Might be cheaper to get one of them if you can find one [URL=http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/812/20120301111811.jpg/]

For looks you could get the lips off a type r or sport. Lower it using Eibach springs and some alloys. The type r exhaust goes well with the lips. The induction kit does make a very nice sound.

Yes. It's a switch fitted to the end of the ignition barrel. There was a recall on these back in the day and mine was changed under that but it failed again. Mine would make buzzing noise when i tried switching it on. The car would start up straight away some times other times it took a few...

Could be the ignition switch. Mine used to make the noise and the car also started to switch off whilst driving

Just get the standard spoiler for it, the low one. Thats what i've got on mine.
