Had a quick search but haven't found sufficient to convince me one way or the other.. I need to replace the rear bumper on my dad's Type -S as someone went in to the back of it last night. Will any saloon rear bumper fit with the rear valance/lip from the Type-S swapped over? cheers

Thanks chaps. Freddo, I took it out and charged it up off the car, it started first turn of the key, but left the fault lights on. I'll have a look at the fuses next chance I get. Any more ideas anyone?

Any ideas chaps? Long story short the Accord has been sat for a couple of months, battery went totally flat and would start with a jump start from another car. Took it off to charge it, put it back on and the car started just fine, but Engine Management/Fault light and VSA fault lights are on...

Another vote for the 2.4 here. Most of my driving is short stuff in outer London with the odd weekend trip back ooop north. I'll rarely get less than 30mpg or 280miles froma full tank even if it all town driving, and expect 360+ to 400miles to a tank if muc of it is motorway miles.

People do don't they. It's a badge of honour to be able to say you change your car's oil every other week with the finest fully synthetic acquired in a lead crystal decanter from a supplier to an F1 team. :lol:

I just stuck a full set of Hankook Ventus V12 Evos on mine and can't fault them. Not sure about the price for 16's, but 17's were under £80 each iirc

I am tempted! If some bargain lowering springs pop up for sale on here I might not be able to resist. Got the mugen style wind deflectors to go on as well when I get round to it

Cheers, yeah, they came out really well, I think they look so much better in this colour than in silver. I had a few slight buckles straightened out of them then spent a lot of time stripping and prepping them, plenty of primer, a good coat of matt black as that paint is known to be pretty...

Not sure if anyone has done this before, but I'm well happy with how they turned out for a diy job, and how they look on the car... Painted in Wheelpaints Volks Bronze. Definitely more gold than bronze though, even with a matt black ground coat. Cool as though I reckon. Would look better...

Just had 412miles from 55 litres. 34mpg. 240 of it on the M1, the rest short journeys to and from work
