    Sudden serious clutch trouble

Doesnt sound like a dmf issue and way too soon for the pressure plate to fail. Perhaps your slave/master has failed, but then surely the pedal would go straight to the floor...i would press the clutch pedal and get someone to confirm full travel on slave.if the slave is working fine it could be...

    nocking noise front front

most likely front anti-roll bar bushes. They make a thud when going over bumps. The drop-links tend to creak.

Possible issue with clutch master cylinder

Sounds like you may still have air in the system. Ditch the mechanic! Cheapest solution is to try bleeding it again yourself. This site should have a few posts on how to do it. Visually inspect your fluid to verify its not dark.

Oil leak on Honda tourer 2.2 CDTi 2004

First thing to do is completely clean the area with brake cleaner . Lots and lots of the stuff, I would but a few litres and get a plastic pressure pump spray bottle. I had and still have a minor leak in this area. The sweating of the oil means that it can be difficult to tell where the leak...

    stiff clutch pedal

Good stuff mate! I'm happy it worked for you. really need to say thanks to the alpha owners club as they came up with this idea. I've done a few hundred miles now and everything is good so far. Not going to call this a success until I've done a few thousand.

    stiff clutch pedal

I used a hose. Greasing the release bearing is not going to reduce noise though. Before proceeding you should record the noise and let us all help you diagnose the exact source. Don't go wacking grease in your clutch area without having some scientific reasoning. Its clear you don't have my...

    stiff clutch pedal

My problem seems sorted. We have 2 totally different issues though. My main issue was lack of grease on the release bearing shaft. Your issue seems to be noise. Don't put any grease inside the bell housing Just grease the point where the slave piston touches the fork.

    stiff clutch pedal

you can need to lube 2 things 1-lube the bit where the slave contacts the fork to reduce noise. But that won't really help with the stiff clutch pedal. 2-to help wiyh stiff pedal uou need to buy plastic tubing. Buy the lube that I linked to and push the lube in one side of the tube. The other...

    stiff clutch pedal

No you cant use that grease. It simply wont flow down a plastic tube. The dry lube in my link is what you need. It is runny but then settles and becomes dry and sticky.

    stiff clutch pedal

Disclaimer:If any lube gets on the friction material it will cause your clutch to slip. I knew the risks and was ready to spend money on a new clutch if it all went wrong. Also do not to start the car afterwards. Let the lube dry and drip overnight, this will minimise any splashing of lube on...

    stiff clutch pedal

-Check for clutch fluid leaks where the clutch pedal connects to the clutch master cylinder and at the slave, also check for leaks at hydraulic line connections in the master/slave. -Check your clutch fluid level -Check the flex pipe portion of the line that runs from the slave cylinder to the...
