The actual hood realease wire in the cabin still has tension when I pull the lever but the hood won't pop. I've looked through the grille, but theres no...

    Fitting a brodit

Thanks Dave - that sounds pretty simple as I've opened up the trim before. Here's where my lack of knowledge really shows - tapping into the wiring, is that by physically connecting the new wires to the lighter wires?

    SOT-047 and tweeters

I've not actually checked whether all of the speakers are working via the lead, but I can say the following: 1) When you connect the mute lead, you have to make sure that it's all the way in the block. Otherwise it doesn't make good contact (some of the other posts describe this in a bit more...

    Fitting a brodit

Hi all, I don't have much experience connecting things to the Electrics. If I wanted to install this http://www.brodit.com/product.html?id=513303&pn=prod&brand=Samsung&model=Galaxy%20Note%20GT-N7000 Where would I need to connect it up? Straightforward to do? Appreciate any help!

    Condensation in headlight

Agree with Paul - check if the clips were put on as part of the recall. If not, they'll probably still do them for you.

service soon - what needs doing?

Just a thought. Try to negotiate the cost of the MOT. I had my car recently serviced at my local Honda Garage, and they did the MOT for £40. If you're going to be spending so much money there, they can knock off a few quid off the MOT. You could also ring up a couple of other dealerships...

    Paint Defect Correction

My car was lightly keyed a while back. I managed to get it out using meguires scratch x 2.0. Here's a Link with my results. Really good stuff, you just have to use it a few times over the scratch. I got the scratches out, and it was all done by hand.

    DAB Radio Install

Really good write up, such a neat install. Really impressed with the brackets you made and the trouble you went to to match the factory wiring looms!

    Parrot mki9000

I fitted it in my accord. You need sot-047. Just take your time taking the trim apart if its your first time with the accord. Also, you need to make sure you get the mute pin all the way into the connector block behind the head unit. The guide on this site is very good. Let us know how you get on.

    road noise

I bought my car second hand, and it had Michelin pilot sport 2s on it. The rear wheels now have pilot sport 3s (17 inch wheels mind). I don't think the road noise is excessive - I find the Accord a very quiet car...

Sorry to hear that buddy. Like I say, I had some trouble with my first loom, so you could try it with another one. Other than that I don't know what else to suggest
