Castrol edge 0W-30 or Mobil 1 - VTEC engines like the fully synthetic but depending on your mileage it might not make that much difference. Have a look on Honda Cox motor parts - they are doing some good offers on oils and service kits.

Hi Dan, my exhaust was blowing at the rear v section join and failed MOT last month. The exhaust on the 2.4 is Honda only supplied part. You cannot buy off the shelf at the likes of Kwik -Fit. Honda quoted £800 plus fitting!. So, I spoke with mechanic and he advised against repairs - welding...

I wouldn't go diesel. We have had them at work and nothing but problems. Engine management light, turbos, limp mode, egr valve, manifold. If you don't do the miles then 2.4 is a great buy at the moment.

Just returned from Scotland - 422 miles at average of 33mpg. 75-80 mph so quite happy. My 2.4 Tourer was so comfortable - ate up the miles.

Kris, I've been getting this too on my 2.4 Tourer. It clears after a mile or so so not particularly bothered me. Getting it serviced next month and planning on replacing fuel filter in tank. Hopefully this will clear it. Otherwise drives a dream .
