If its slipping clutch, its unlikely to do it in the first 3-4 gears, or at least it wont be very noticable. The best bet is to find a straight road and put it in 5th/6th gear and put your foot down flat at about 1.5k-2k rpm, if the revs rise and the speed doesnt pick up much and then the revs...
Personally, i think that it is just a common fault on the facelift cars. Mine hardly ever does it now, but does occasionally do it and I have changed pretty much everything and had lots of diagnostic work done. I tend to find it happens more if its a cold or damp day. Fuel seems to make no...
Sounds to me like when you have put the clutch in it has stalled, the battery light and oil light would come on and the steering would go heavy, then when you let the clutch out slowing down it would restart.
The system light stays on for I beleive 3 start stops after it registers the fault. If the fault is no longer there then it goes off after 3 start stops of about 30 seconds or longer. It explains it in the owners handbook somewhere.
Winter tends to kill my MPG. I tend to get sub 40 mpg in the winter or around 40 and in the summer I get higher 40's, between 45-50. Mine is the six speed facelift though. Run to work is around 17 miles each way. Last full tank was 44mpg
Yes there are a number of thigs like different grill, headlights and multiple other thiings, but on the diesel the 6th gear is a big giveaway. the pre-facelift was only available in 5 speed
This may sound silly, but how long have you had the tyres on and how worn are they? Some brands of tyres and worn tyres can often make a noise which gets worse with speed and sounds like a wheel bearing.
If you have not already done so I can confirn that you can remove the fog lights as per the video with the top of the bumper being released. I had to change one of mine as it smashed. It was a bit fiddly, but definitely easier than the whole bumper off!
Adam, if you do order the 55w ones, let me know what they are like, I might get a set. Infact I might just order a set after Christmas, but if you do I would be interested in the difference.
Cheers, Nick
PS have you got 5000K in at the moment?
£60.... try £90, I told them to do one. I really do detest Marshall Honda
Strange, when I took mine to HH for the manifold they replaced the coolant as they drained it when changing the manifold. May have been as they damaged a coolant pipe, but I was under the impression that a coolant pipe...
