Well another year and the 06 plate diesel tourer has passed another MOT with flying colours. Was a bit worried this year as I'd fitted some aftermarket HIDs but no problem. Happy days.

That would be the problem, my car doesn't have that switch. Instead it has a grille for the HFT. May take it apart when I get 10 minutes to see if I can hard wire it.

I had the same quandry with my 7th Gen. Tried Osram night breakers and they were rubbish. In the end I went for a HID conversion. Best decision ever, the lights are much better than the standard lights. And yes the Osram's were definelty in the correct way up :-)

Looks great. I have a diesel sports tourer and the thing that annoys me is that only the central interior light comes on when the doors are opened etc. The two map reading lights at the front by the rear view mirror don't. Has anyone done a mod to enable these upon the door opening or do they...

Mine has a loose connection. I went to fix it after fitting the HID's but it had magically started working.

Can't remember does the 6th Gen come with a red/grey key that needs to be used to code new keys? Just a cut key will allow you to open the boot even if it's not coded. When I had mine if I dared to use the key to unlock the car when the alarm was armed the alarm went off.

Yes you need to change the filter. No idea about the cheap oil as I have the lubetech drum at home :-)

Yep condensation from the Air Con. Worse when it's hot and humid. Nothing to worry about.

Cheers Guys, I did have a knocking at the back a month back but replacing the rear ARB bushes addressed that. I guess the main thing that's annoying me is that it just looks a bit rubbish with the different gaps. Can't afford new suspension though so I guess I'll have to live with it. Ta.

It's a series of LED's in the wing mirros so for one of them to go I'd ***ume it's an individual component. However I'm not aware of there being any extra fuses just for the mirror indicators. From memory (it's been a while and it wasn't a Honda) when an indicator bulb goes the remaining bulbs...

Had the car in for the MOT yesterday. Passed with no advisories. Excellent.

I wouldn't bother with grooved and drilled on the rear unless you were getting glazing issues or want to look pimp. As for the front brakes probably the best upgrade you can make is to Type-R or Legend callipers.

Thanks for the updates guys. I've just had a look on the HEL website and they do a hose set for the 7th Gen Accord. However they don't differentiate between the saloon and the tourer. I've sent them an enquiry via the website to see if they are for the saloon or estate.
