Got a stage 2 remap off Fahad a couple of years ago ( ish ) at 45,000mls and a couple of days later got the slip. Took it to Leeds and got the full package i.e. dmf, pressure plate & paddle ( only did the 6 paddle then ) and release bearing. This did the job but was a bugger in traffic ( judder...

My mate has a garage and put a new LUK clutch in my Accord with no probs (no special tools) the notchy feel will probably go when new clutch fitted.

If it stops making noise on left handers it is the nearside that is at fault, this happens because you take the load off the nearside wheels and suspension when you turn left, finding if it's front or back is more of a problem i'm afraid.

I have this clutch and it is brilliant at what it is designed to do...BUT if I had a lot of traffic to contend with it would get on my nerves, luckily I do not have this problem so I enjoy the way I can give it full throttle without being worried about it slipping. I have stage 2 :D

If it is wheel bearing noise it should be noisier going round a corner and quieter going round opposite handed corner.

Agree with Stefan, paddle clutch for stage 2 ( which I have ) normal clutch for stage 1. :)

Hello all :) went out to my tourer today, unlocked car with the remote and alarm started going off ( about 20 secs on and 10 secs off ) anyway car started okay but could not knock alarm off, in desperation I disconnected the battery and left it ( alarm still going but only half as loud off...

Think that is a big part of the clutch problems Faddy, those CG fellas are doing a good job :D

The centre plate is designed so it takes less pressure to make it hold, it works so well that it causes the grabbing effect that is the down side to it if in heavy traffic. Brilliant at what it is designed to do :) but flawed a bit by the grabbing :(

Spot on :) Nuno, the paddle clutch is just the same to press down as the pressure plate is the same, only the centre plate that's different.

I've had one for a few months now Chris and it is brilliant for what it is made for, BUT there is no way I would recommend it for a standard tuned motor. It is very grabby! by the very nature of how it works it has to be. If I was having to drive in heavy traffic a lot mine would not be the best...

Allways try fuel filter first ! might never have had one, then go from there if needs must.

Hi,I run 16" as Wiinters and 17" as Summers on mine! The Winters are on the wheels that came as standard :)

Mine does this if the car is already hot inside ! this is just keeping the temp at the correctly set level. If the car does not get warm inside whist set at 20 or so then there is a problem .
